Toms River, NJ - The Ocean County College Vikings men's basketball team (1-2) fell to Atlantic Cape Community College on Tuesday (11/21) by a final score of 90-81. The game, Ocean's first GSAC matchup of the season, was a hard-fought battle, with neither team holding onto a lead for long. Vikings guard Patrick Marinaccio led the team with 25 points, while Alfred Demby posted 21, marking the third straight game of 20-or-more points for the freshman. "It was a game of runs," remarked Vikings HC Patrick Boylan. "We went down by double digits early and fought back. Ultimately, we couldn't overcome their physicality in the paint."
The Vikings return to the court on Tuesday, November 28, when they host Union County College. Tip-off is at 5 p.m.
