Toms River, NJ - The Ocean County College Vikings men's basketball team (1-3) lost to GSAC rival Union County College by a final score of 107-88 on Tuesday (11/28). Vikings forward Alfred Demby continued his impressive production this season, with a 27-point, 10-rebound effort, while guard Patrick Marinaccio also lit up the stat sheet, with a 16-point, 11-rebound evening. Union was relentless on the offensive attack, establishing an 11-point lead going into the half that proved insurmountable, as the Owls were able to take advantage of OCC turnovers to pad the lead to 19 points by the final buzzer. The loss marks the second straight in conference play for Ocean, who will look to turn things around on Saturday, December 2 when they travel to Middlesex County College for a 2:00 p.m. matchup.
