Toms River, NJ - Three Vikings posted double-doubles as Ocean County College Men's Basketball (5-13) picked up their 2nd straight win of the season in a 72-61 defeat of visiting Middlesex County College on Saturday (1/27). Patrick Marinaccio (16 points, 15 rebounds), RJ Laing (17 points, 13 rebounds) and Damien Singleton (23 points, 11 rebounds) led the charge for Ocean in what was a fast-paced, aggressive GSAC matchup. Down by 5 at the half (38-33), Ocean roared back from the intermission, outscoring Middlesex 39-23 to take the lead, and the game. "Guards making a concerted effort to rebound really helped lead us to victory," remarked Vikings HC Patrick Boylan.
The Vikings look to make it 3 in a row on Tuesday, January 30 when they host Cumberland County College at 7 p.m.
