Toms River, NJ - OCC Men's Basketball (8-16) ran into top-ranked Brookdale Community College (27-0) on Thursday (2/15) and came out on the losing end, to the tune of 106-64. The Jersey Blues scored early and often, establishing a 47-24 lead at the half, and outscoring Ocean by 19 in the 2nd half to close out the contest. Vikings sophomore RJ Laing posted a double-double on the evening, with a 21 point, 13 rebound performance.
The Vikings will conclude their season on Saturday, February 17 when they host GSAC rival Sussex County Community College for a 2 p.m. tip-off.
