Toms River, NJ - OCC Men's Basketball slipped to a record of 1-4 following a 110-104 loss to visiting Cumberland County College on Tuesday (12/4). The Dukes set the pace early, and Ocean found themselves in a perpetual game of catch-up, with missed opportunities sealing their fate. Vikings sophomore Alfred Demby led Ocean scoring with 31 points, while freshman Tyric Trapp posted a double-double, with a 20-point, 10-rebound performance.
"I'm very proud of the team's effort. They battled for 40 minutes," stated OCC Head Coach Patrick Boylan. "Again, missed free throws and a few bad stretches ultimately led to the loss."
The Vikings will look to break their 2-game skid on Thursday, December 6th, when they host Union County College at 6 p.m.
