Toms River, NJ - OCC Men's Basketball (4-10) suffered a tough loss to visiting Bergen Community College (6-9) on Saturday (1/12), to the tune of 102-85. The teams were evenly matched and the game was hotly contested. Ocean got within 5 points of the lead early in the first half, but the Vikings were ultimately unable to gain any ground on the defensive end, leaving the Bulldogs the opportunity to run away with the win.
Ocean freshmen Anthony Petit-Clair and Mark Streiter led Vikings' scoring with 15 points each, while sophomores Jack Waddleton and Sean O'Donnell were not far behind, with both scoring 12 points in the loss.
The Vikings will try to pick up their fifth win of the season on Tuesday, January 14th, when they visit local rival Brookdale Community College for a 5 p.m. conference battle.
