Toms River, NJ - OCC Men's Basketball dropped to a record of 5-11 on Thursday (1/17) in a 124-84 loss to the Spartans of Northampton Community College.
Five Vikings contributed double-digit scoring in the loss, but with Northampton outscoring Ocean by 20 points in both the first and second halves, the lead established by the Spartans proved enough to secure the win.
Among the game's highlights, Ocean freshman Carson Glenn Francisco had a breakout performance for the Vikings, with a 20-point, 4-rebound, 6-assist night. Francis Robles contributed 19 points, while Anthony Petit-Clair pulled down a team-high 7 rebounds to go along with his 14 points. Ocean sophomores Jack Waddleton and Sean O'Donnell scored 11 points each in the loss.
The Vikings will look for their sixth win on Thursday, January 24th, when they welcome Raritan Valley Community College to Toms River for a 5 p.m. showdown.
