Toms River, NJ - Ocean County College Men's Basketball picked up its sixth win of the season in a decisive 97-65 win against the visiting Golden Lions of Raritan Valley Community College.
Ocean guard/forward Anthony Petit-Clair had an outstanding night, scoring 36 points and pulling down 6 rebounds, while guards Sean O'Donnell (19 points, 11 rebounds) and Carson Glenn Francisco (16 points, 10 assists) racked up double-doubles in a game that the Vikings led from start to finish.
"The 2nd half was the best 20 minutes of basketball we have played all season," remarked OCC Head Coach Patrick Boylan. "Petit-Clair was sensational. O'Donnell and Francisco both played huge parts as well. The bench produced great energy all night!"
The resurgent Vikings return to the court on Saturday, January 26th, when they host Passaic County Community College at 2 p.m. in conference play.
