OCC Men's Basketball Falls to Bucks in Heartbreaker, 85-84

Toms River, NJ - OCC Men's Basketball (12-14) ended their 2019-20 season on the road at Bucks County CC, in a heartbreaking 85-84 loss to the Centurions. The matchup was a must-win for the Vikings in order to secure a place in the Region XIX postseason, and despite winning 6 of their final 9 games, the team came up just short tonight.

Ocean sophomore Anthony Petit-Clair pounded the Centurions with a 32-point performance, while sophomores Carson Glenn Francisco (20 points, 10 rebounds, 7 assists), and Na'Sir Dillard (20 points, 4 assists) did all they could in a battle that saw the teams tied at the half at 44, and decided by the slightest of margins at the end.

With a core of promising freshmen talent, OCC Head Coach Patrick Boylan is hopeful for the future: "I'm proud of the effort and hard work our guys put into this season. We'll look to carry that forward into next year."
