Toms River, NJ - OCC Men's Basketball earned their 1st win of the 2021-22 season in a 85-60 victory against the visiting Panthers of Passaic County Community College.
Ocean sophomore Jalen Jackson picked up 24 points, along with 9 rebounds and 5 assists in the winning effort. Freshman Marc Dennis enjoyed his most productive game of the season, with a 13-point performance, while freshman Wes Deitch was seemingly everywhere the action was, with an 11-point, 7-rebound, 4-assist evening. "I think we got a good glimpse of what we are capable of as a team tonight," remarked OCC Men's Basketball Head Coach Patrick Boylan. "We now have to continue to build on that momentum."
The Vikings will look to do just that on Tuesday, December 7, when they return to action at Union County College, for a 7 P.M. conference matchup with the Owls.
