OCC Men's Basketball Grinds Out a Win at RCSJ Gloucester, 60-56

Toms River, NJ - OCC Men's Basketball earned their 1st win of the new year in a gritty 60-56 road win against the Roadrunners of RCSJ Gloucester on Saturday (1/15).

Ocean freshman Bryan Potter put up one of his best performances of the season in a 19-point effort that led the team, while freshman Josh Kline's 10-point, 7-steal afternoon proved invaluble in a game that was a battle for every point.

"We're thrilled to start off 2022 with a tough win on the road against a talented RCSJ Gloucester team," remarked OCC Men's Basketball Assistant Coach Evan Andariese. "This was our first game in nearly a month, which explains our slow start, but I'm proud of the guys overcoming that and closing out the game strong. Bryan Potter had a great night shooting the ball with his 5 3s (4 in the first half) and Josh Kline was again a menace on defense with his 3rd 7-steal game of the season. We look forward to building off this momentum and going on a 2nd half run."

The Vikings return to action on Tuesday, January 18, when they head to Camden County College for a 7 P.M. GSAC matchup against the Cougars.
