OCC Men's Basketball Topped by Camden County College, 92-78

Toms River, NJ - OCC Men's Basketball sophomore Jalen Jackson scored 20 points and dished out 5 assists, while freshman Bryan Potter added 16 points in the Vikings' 92-78 loss to conference rival Camden County College on Tuesday (1/18).

All 10 Ocean players who saw action scored points, but the team was ultimately unable to overtake the Cougars' 16 point halftime lead.

"We dug ourselves into a hole early that we couldn't get out of," reflected OCC Men's Basketball Assistant Coach Evan Andariese. "We're starting to shoot the ball well as a team because of our improved ball movement and shot selection, so that's a positive that we're hoping to continue. It was great to see Nico Montano play aggressively and knock down some big shots. Jalen and Bryan played a great offensive game and have solidified themselves as key contributors moving forward."

The Vikings return to the court on Thursday, January 20, when they welcome Community College of Philadelphia to Toms River for a 7 P.M. Region XIX matchup.
