Toms River, NJ - OCC Men's Basketball picked up their 2nd win in their last 3 games in a decisive 87-75 victory on Saturday (1/22) against the visiting Blue Colts of Middlesex College.
Ocean sophomore Jalen Jackson scored 36 points, pulled down 7 rebounds and grabbed 4 steals, while freshman Josh Kline contributed a double-double (17 points, 11 rebounds) in the win. Freshman Bryan Potter contributed 13 points and 8 rebounds, marking the 7th time in his last 8 games that he's scored in double figures.
"I think Saturday was a testament to how resilient we are as a group," remarked OCC Men's Basketball Head Coach Patrick Boylan. "It's been a difficult past few weeks, not knowing who is able to practice or who is available to play. We need to continue to play with that type of tenacity the rest of the way."
The Vikings return to the court on Tuesday, January 25, when they host Salem Community College in some 5 P.M. GSAC conference competition.
