Toms River, NJ - OCC Men's Basketball freshman shooting guard Josh Kline dropped 37 points and pulled down 9 rebounds in the Vikings' 100-93 win against the Bergen CC Bulldogs on Tuesday (2/1). The Pinelands, NJ native's 9-for-9 free throw shooting, particularly those made toward the end of the game, were essential in securing the win for the Vikings. Sophomore Jalen Jackson was a force to be reckoned with as well, with 29 points, 6 rebounds, 7 assists, and 6 steals in an exciting conference matchup that saw Ocean trailing by a point at the half, and roaring back time and again before pulling away in the game's closing minutes.
The Vikings will look for their 4th win of the season on Thursday, February 3, when they welcome the Union County College Owls to campus for a 5 P.M. tip-off.
