OCC Men's Basketball Win Streak Stopped at 5 in 86-70 Loss to Salem CC

Toms River, NJ - After riding high with 5 consecutive wins in as many games, OCC Men's Basketball were brought back down to Earth on Saturday (2/12), in an 86-70 road loss to the Mighty Oaks of Salem Community College.

Ocean freshman Ethan Paul led the Vikings' offensive effort, with 20 points and 3 rebounds, while sophomore Jalen Jackson contributed 15 points, 4 rebounds, and 4 assists in the loss. Freshmen Bryan Potter (14 PTS, 9 REB) and Josh Kline (13 PTS, 9 REB) rounded out the double-digit scorers in this game that Salem seemed to control from the start.

The Vikings' next game will be their last of the 2021-22 season. OCC hosts RCSJ Cumberland on Monday, February 14, at 5:30 P.M.
