Toms River, NJ - OCC Men's Basketball sophomore Josh Kline scored 31 points and pulled in 6 rebounds in Ocean's 94-83 loss at Union College on Thursday (11/17). This high-tempo conference battle was a challenging one for the Vikings, who trailed by 13 at the half in front of a raucous Union crowd. Despite showing flashes of closing the gap, Ocean shot 53% (19 for 36) from the free throw line, which no doubt played a role in the deciding outcome.
"Josh Kline's performance against Union set the standard of toughness for the team to live up to the rest of the season," reflected OCC Men's Basketball Head Coach Patrick Boylan. "He was outstanding offensively and defensively, and his individual effort raised our collective performance."
The Vikings return to action on Tuesday, November 22, when they visit Atlantic Cape Community College for a 7 P.M. GSAC Conference matchup.
