OCC Men's Basketball Stopped by Northampton CC, 110-81

Toms River, NJ - OCC Men's Basketball slipped to 1-2 overall in their 2023 season following a tough 110-81 loss to nationally-ranked #12 Northampton CC on Saturday (11/18).

OCC sophomore guard/forward Khalil Campbell led the Vikings' offensive effort with a 23-point, 9-rebound performance in a matchup that the Spartans seemingly controlled from start to finish. Sophomore guard Dallas Weisse contributed 17 points and 4 rebounds in the loss, his strongest game to date in this new season.

"Saturday was a very humbling experience. We struggled to match their physicality, which allowed for them to dominate the game offensively," reflected OCC Men's Basketball Head Coach Patrick Boylan. "We have an important road match coming up this Tuesday, which we expect a much better performance in than Saturday's."

The Vikings will return to action on Tuesday, November 21, when they travel to Salem CC for a 7 P.M. matchup versus the Mighty Oaks.
