Kahlil Campbell Drops 28 Points in Men's Basketball's 74-64 Win at Delaware County CC

Toms River, NJ - OCC Men's Basketball earned their 7th win of the season in a 74-64 victory at Delaware County Community College on Tuesday (1/23).

OCC sophomore guard/forward Kahlil Campbell matched his season-high offensive output with a 28 point night, and led the team's defensive effort with 11 rebounds, while freshman guard Robert Giovine supplied 11 points in the decisive win. Sophomore Brien Dunphy II was a welcome return to the court, having missed Ocean's last 2 games due to injury. The Howell, NJ native chipped in 6 points, while freshman guard Dylan Hall maximized his time, dishing 6 assists and pulling in 3 rebounds in his 16 minutes of action.

"Last night we were able to secure a much needed road win," stated OCC Men's Basketball Head Coach Patrick Boylan. "Our plan to get to the basket more regularly and not rely on our perimeter shooting paid off. Kahlil Campbell was relentless on offense all night and was truly a force to be reckoned with. Dekari Harrell contributed an outstanding defensive effort, along with a crucial basket late in the 2nd half."

The Vikings now enter a 3-game homestand, which will see them host the Skylanders of Sussex County CC on January 25 at 7 P.M., followed by Montgomery County CC on January 29 at 7 P.M., and lastly Atlantic Cape CC on February 1 at 6 P.M.
