Sean is a graduate of Pinelands Regional High School in Little Egg Harbor where he was a 4-time golf team Most Valuable Player from 1987 to 1990. An All-County and All-Shore Conference golfer, Sean was the Bloomsburg University Golf Club Match Secretary before becoming an assistant coach with his alma mater, Pinelands, while earning a post graduate degree at Stockton University. Fawcett coached full-time with Pinelands from 1995 to 2007, helping the Wildcats win 9 championships, including an Ocean County Tournament title in 2000. From 2017 to 2019, Sean assisted Ocean County College head coach Rich Wortman. Sean is the senior writer for Golfer's Tee Times magazine based in Colts Neck, NJ, and contributes golf feature stories in several other publications in New Jersey and Pennsylvania.
