Toms River, NJ - The Vikings traveled to Lincroft today to take on Region 19 foe, Brookdale Community College.  The Vikings were led with a strong defensive effort keeping the Jersey Blues off the scoreboard for more then 2 straight quarters.  The Vikings led 3-2 after the first quarter and kept the Jersey Blues off the scoreboard until the 3rd minute of the 4th quarter.  The Vikings were led on defense by freshman Kyle Leary and Chris Arocho and sophomores Randy Royle and Alex Castellano.  Alex Menzies was again stellar in goal.

Offensively, the Vikings high powered offense had 9 different scorers in the win.  John Kicak led all scorers with 4 goals.  Jeff Galatola had a 6 point effort with 3 goals and 3 assists.  Pat Quinn also had a great day with 4 helpers and 2 goals.  John Novak was excellent between the lines leading the team with 8 ground balls.

The Vikings are back in action this Saturday.  They will play host to Region 20 opponent Southern Maryland Community College.
