Toms River, NJ - The Vikings continue their winning ways with a hard fought win at SUNY-Delhi. On a beautiful Saturday afternoon, the Vikings used their offensive prowless once again to take home the victory. Led by 5 points by freshman Enrique Gerena (3g, 2a) and sophomore John Kicak (3g) the offense did just enough to keep the Broncos at bay. The Vikings had 4 other scorers contribute on offense.
The defense was solid all over the field led by Randy Royle (9 GBs, 4 caused turnovers) and John Novak (8 GBs, 2 caused turnovers). Alex Menzies had 14 saves in the win. Ryan Yursha was 18-26 at the face-off "X".
The Vikings are back in action this Saturday as they travel to the County College of Morris at 4pm.
