Toms River, NJ - The (#7) Ocean County College Vikings welcomed Region III opponent Hudson Valley Community College to New Jersey, and defeated them in what turned out to be quite the battle. The Vikings' explosive offense was on display early, as they leapt to a 4-0 lead in the 1st quarter, but Hudson Valley would not give up without a fight, bringing the score to within one goal late into the 4th quarter, but ultimately falling to Ocean, 10-9. The Vikings were lead in scoring by Tyler Kalmowitz (3 goals) and Eric Gray (1 goal, 2 assists). Chris Smith added 2 goals in the win, as well. Goalie Mike Trezza had 6 saves in the victory. 

The Vikings return to action on Friday evening, (3/24) as they travel to (#2) Harford Community College for a 7:00 p.m. matchup.
