(#6) Vikings Lacrosse Ends Postseason Run in 22-4 loss to (#3) Genesee CC

Toms River, NJ - OCC Vikings Lacrosse's 2018 NJCAA postseason ended on Saturday (5/5), when the (#6) Vikings fell to a tough (#3) Genesee Community College, 22-4. Ocean, who upset top-ranked Delaware Technical CC the week prior to secure their second straight Region XIX Championship, found themselves overwhelmed early and often by host Genesee, who held a 10-2 lead after one half, and never looked back. Mike Mowder, Nick Parente, Dillon Clark, and Gavin Murphy scored Ocean's goals, with AJ Alvarez assisting on two of them, while Vikings goalkeeper Mike Trezza posted 12 saves on 27 shots.

The Vikings finished the season with a 7-7 overall record and were an undefeated 2-0 in the Garden State Athletic Conference.
