Coach Royle is a 2012 graduate from Jackson Memorial High School where he started and played in every game throughout his 4-year varsity lacrosse career. He then went on to play at Ocean County College in 2015-16, where he served as a 2-year captain, receiving the Region 19 Defensive Player of the Year in 2015, as well as first team all GSAC and Region 19 honors both years. In 2017 he remained with the program, serving as team manager and in 2018 led the Vikings to a second consecutive Region 19 Title.
