Toms River, NJ - After conceding an early goal in the match's 5th minute, the Ocean County College Vikings roared back to score three goals in the opening half of play to overtake the Bergen Bulldogs by a final score of 3-1. The red-hot Doug Jensen scored two goals, one unassisted in the 20th minute, and another in the 29th minute, provided by Ryan Cheslock. With four goals in Thursday's win against Cumberland, Jensen has now scored six goals in his last two games. Youssef Abdelaziz scored the third Viking goal in the 39th minute, on an assist from Nick Hund. Vikings goalkeeper Robert Andrade recorded the win, making 7 stops on the day, including a momentum-changing save on a Bergen penalty kick.
The Vikings return to the pitch on Tuesday, September 19 when they host conference rival Middlesex County College in a 4:30 p.m. matchup.
