Toms River, NJ - The Ocean County College Vikings orchestrated another late game rally to top Middlesex County College, 2-1 in a tough conference matchup. Newly-minted GSAC Player of the Week Doug Jensen, who has now reached the double digit mark in scoring for the season with 10 goals, provided the equalizer and the game winner for the Vikings late in the second half. Assists came from Farid Sandoval and Ryan Cheslock. The Viking defense, led by captains Jhon Ortiz, Kyle Unger, and Dylan Kanson was organized and tough throughout Middlesex's second half surge. Goalkeeper Robert Andrade posted another solid performance in net, and has conceded just 3 goals thus far this season.
The Vikings return to action on Thursday, September 21, when they host Rowan College at Burlington County at 4 p.m. in what is certain to be another exciting conference match.
