Toms River, NJ - Ocean County College Mens Soccer battled hard in the pouring rain against the Rowan College of Gloucester County Roadrunners, only to end in a scoreless draw in Tuesday's Region XIX matchup in Sewell, NJ.
Despite outshooting the Roadrunners 14-7 and dominating play throughout the match, the Vikings had to settle for the draw as high winds and torrential rains prompted officials to stop play in the match's 72nd minute.
Ocean sophomore GK Robert Andrade made 6 saves in the game and notched his 4th shutout of the season.
The Vikings' next Region XIX challenge will take place this Saturday 9/29 at 12 p.m. at Ocean County College Stadium, against the Sussex County College Highlanders.
