Toms River, NJ - Ocean County College Stadium roared as OCC sophomore forward Harmony Bell-Gam hit an absolute laser from 25 yards out with just 39 seconds left in regulation to give the Vikings the equalizer against NJCAA D-I's Harcum College Bears, 1-1.
After a hard-fought overtime period, in which the Vikings outshot the Bears 5-3, the result held, bringing Ocean's record overall to 9-3-1.
Ocean's performance was solid, as the team steadily built momentum throughout the match, with the strongest play coming in overtime with the Vikings pushing hard for the go-ahead goal.
Ocean freshmen goalkeeper Riley Fahnholz was outstanding in net, making 7 saves on the day.
The Vikings' defensive unit, anchored by center backs Brad Bischoff and Oliver Peluso-Nora, was formidable in dealing with a dangerous Harcum College attack.
