OCC Men's Soccer Extends Unbeaten Streak to 6 Games in 3-2 Defeat of Brookdale CC

Toms River, NJ - OCC Men's Soccer won their fifth match in their last six contests in a 3-2 victory against conference rival Brookdale Community College on Thursday (10/17). The win elevated Ocean to a 10-3-1 overall record (7-3 in GSAC) with one regular season game remaining in the 2019-20 season.

Ocean sophomore forward Cory Branz (7g, 5a) scored the match's game-winner in the 77th minute, while current GSAC Player of the Week Harmony Bell-Gam (5g, 7a) continued his torrid play of late, with the sophomore forward supplying two assists in the win.

Also scoring for the Vikings were freshman midfielder Aniello Lubrano (assisted by Bell-Gam and Mike Cambra), and sophomore defender James Pari (assisted by Jordan Finkle). 

The Vikings significantly outshot the Jersey Blues, 16-6, with Ocean freshman goalkeeper Riley Fahnholz recording 5 saves en route to his 6th win of the season.

With postseason ceding still to be determined, the Vikings will wrap up the regular season on Monday, October 21st, when they host Division I opponent Rowan College at Burlington County at 3:45 p.m.
