Lubrano Dominates as Vikings Defeat CC Morris, 7-0

Toms River, NJ - OCC Vikings Men's Soccer improved to 4-0 overall in front of a cheering home crowd in a commanding 7-0 victory against CC of Morris on Saturday (9/18).

Ocean sophomore team captain Aniello Lubrano simply dominated the attacking third of the field, scoring 4 goals in the win. Giovanni Hernandez, Johnny Hart, and Kristian Talas also contributed goals for a Vikings team that has now outscored their opponents 24-2 over their 1st 4 matches of the season. Hernandez and Cian Scott each provided 2 assists, while Hart and Junior Bravo Ortega provided assists today as well.

Following this afternoon's performance, Aniello Lubrano ranks 5th in the NJCAA in goals (8) and points (19), while Johnny Hart is currently ranked 3rd in assists in the NJCAA, with 6.

Goalkeepers Shane Cramer and Frank Maisano teamed up to make 5 total saves in the match and shared the shutout, with the help of a strong defensive unit lead by co-captains Junior Bravo Ortega and Tyler Weiss, and further bolstered by a very strong showing from center back Ryan Brodeur.

The Vikings will look for their 5th straight win on Tuesday, 9/22, when they travel to Rowan College of South Jersey - Gloucester to take on the Roadrunners (4-1) at 4pm in their next Region 19 battle.
