Men's Soccer Improve to 4-1 on Season Following 2-0 Shutout of Bergen

Toms River, NJ - OCC Men's Soccer surged late in the 2nd half to shut out Bergen Community College, 2-0 on Saturday (9/16). OCC freshman midfielder Joao Capobianco scored the game winner in the 85th minute (assisted by Jayson Nardone) and assisted on Mattia Assante DiCupillo's insurance tally with 40 seconds remaining in the match, as the Vikings improved to 4-1 overall this season. Ocean outshot the visiting Bulldogs, 14-5 on the afternoon, with Vikings sophomore goalkeeper Dawson Kaniuk making 5 stops to lock in the shutout. 

The Vikings will next host Atlantic Cape CC on Tuesday, September 19 at 4 P.M.
