OCC Men's Volleyball Shuts Out Northampton, Improves to 6-0 on Season

Toms River, NJ - OCC Men's Volleyball (6-0) continued their impressive inaugural season on Monday (3/13), earning their 6th win of the season against no losses following a 3-0 shutout of the visiting Spartans of Northampton Community College.

The Vikings struck early and often, blasting past Northampton 25-13 in the 1st set, before the Spartans made defensive adjustments and narrowly lost the 2nd set, 28-26, with the Vikings sealing the proverbial deal, 25-22, to secure the 3rd set victory and match win.

"I thought we had an amazing first match from the team, all-around," recounted OCC Men's Volleyball Head Coach Madisyn Raguz. "Channing Williams had an awesome blocking and hitting game, and Tyler Iozzi had a great assist game tonight."

The Vikings play their final 4 games of the season on the road, the 1st of which will be on Friday, March 17, when they travel to Union College for a 6:30 P.M. matchup versus the Owls.
