Toms River, NJ - The 2022-23 NJCAA Region 19 and Garden State Athletic Conference champion OCC Men's Volleyball team wrapped their up their postseason run on April 22 at the 2023 NJCAA Men's Volleyball Invitational tournament, hosted by the College of Du Page in Glen Ellyn, IL. The Vikings lost 3 matches and won 2 through the course of the competition, with losses to Bryant & Stratton College, Finger Lakes Community College, and host College of Du Page, while picking up 2 victories against Union College. The Vikings finished the tournament and season ranked 5th in the nation with a 13-4 overall record, undefeated (8-0) in GSAC Conference play.

"Obviously an incredible inaugural year," reflected OCC Men's Volleyball Head Coach Madisyn Raguz. "I couldn't have asked for a better group of guys to go with the flow, and we had so much fun. We didn't perform our best at nationals, but I'm hoping next season to have a lot more out-of-conference games to see some good competition. We've already started recruiting, and having some key players come back next year will get us on the right foot toward continuing to grow the program and setting us up for an even more successful year."
