Toms River, NJ - OCC Men's Volleyball won their 3rd match in 3 days, with a 3-1 defeat of the visiting Owls of Union College on Monday (3/11).
The Vikings, who sit atop Region 19 with an 8-1 overall record, struggled early to find their footing in this match, before taking control in the last 2 sets to close out the Owls in 4 (set scores: 25-18, 24-26, 25-20, 25-20).
Ocean freshman outside hitter Sam Barney had 5 1st set kills, and sophomore setter Tyler Iozzi 8 3rd set assists in the win.
The Vikings return to action on Wednesday, March 13, when they welcome Middlesex College to Toms River for a 6:30 P.M. match.
