The Ocean men's cross country team showed a significant jump in performance with its 13th place finish at the Osprey Open at Stockton University. The Vikings tallied 351 points, just 1 point behind Rutgers-Camden and were the 2nd best team among Region 19 schools.
Christian Bermudez led Ocean with his 37th place finish, the top region finisher in the race. Freshman Zachary Piscopo was the next Viking in 87th place, followed by Xavier Ramirez, Juancarlos Martinez, and Eddie Carvente in 97th, 120th, and 126th respectively. Sam Lamberti earned a 128th place finish in the race of 155. Next up for Ocean is the NJIT Invitational on October 8th at Branch Brook Park.
