Toms River, NJ - The Ocean County College Men's Cross Country team finished 1st in Region XIX at Friday's (9/13) TCNJ Invitational, hosted by The College of New Jersey.

Ocean freshman Brandon Shymanski led the Viking pack, with Nick Ledonne, Ryan Lynn, and Frank Fanelli II all turning in notable performances as well. "Frank had a very good race. I'm pleased with how he and team are coming along," commented OCC Cross Country Head Coach Brian Decker. "I thought the team ran tough and learned a lot from the meet."

The Vikings return to action on Saturday, September 21st, when they travel to Stockton University to participate in the Osprey Open.
