Coach Decker entered his first year as Head Men’s and Women’s Cross Country Coach with the 2019 season(s).  He ran competitively for University of Kentucky and Monmouth University, where he received his degree. As a 2010 All Shore Coach of the Year, Coach Decker brings a wealth of knowledge and passion for the sport.

He has been successful at the highest levels of high school cross country running with both teams and individuals, with two of his athletes qualifying for the Foot Locker National Championships held in San Diego, California. 

At Ocean County College, he is hoping to bring his coaching experience to student athletes who have a desire to progress academically and athletically. “I am really looking forward to the start of the season and furthering the development of the cross country program,” said Coach Decker.
