Toms River, NJ - The Vikings battled hard and held the first game of the double header series at 7-8 until the top of the 5th inning when Rowan College at Burlington County had rallied and scored 13 runs to end the game at a 7-21 loss for the Vikings. In game two the Vikings did not give up and came back on top with a 13-6 victory over the division two team.
The Vikings win was led by Kara Molnar who went 2 for 2 with 2 RBI's and 2 walks, Brianna Vafiadis who went 4 for 3 with 2 RBI's and Adelle Hickman who went 4 for 3 with 1 RBI and a walk. Ashley Hussey picked up her 6th win of the season and the Vikings record jumped to 9 and 5 overall.
The next home game will be on Saturday April 9th verse Sussex County College at 12pm.
