Toms River, NJ - The Ocean County College Vikings Softball team picked up two wins today in a sweep against Northampton Community College.
Game 1: Kurstin Binshedler hit 3 for 4 with 3 RBI and 3 runs scored in a 13-5 victory for OCC. Shea Branda was outstanding in the batter's box, going 3 for 3 with a triple and 3 RBI. The win was pitcher Marissa Stadtmauer's sixth of the season. She allowed just five hits over the game's five innings.
Game 2: Stephanie Healy batted 3 for 4 with a double and an RBI in this 12-4 Vikings victory. Shea Branda remained dialed in, going 3 for 4 with a run batted in, while Gabby Loffredo hit her second home run of the season.
The Vikings return to action on Monday (4/17), when they travel to Sussex County Community College for a 3:30 p.m. doubleheader.
