Toms River, NJ - The Ocean County College Vikings Softball team picked up two wins on Monday to improve to 14-10 on the season with a doubleheader sweep of Sussex County Community College.

GAME 1: Vikings pitcher Marissa Stadtmauer picked up her 8th win of the season, allowing 4 hits over 5 innings in a 12-2 victory. Shea Branda went 3 for 4 with 2 doubles and 2 runs scored, while Stephanie Healy hit 3 for 4 with a triple and 3 runs scored.

GAME 2: Forfeit by Sussex (too few players).

These two victories leave the Vikings with a 10-2 record in the region, 6-2 in the conference. The team returns to the field on Thursday (4/20), when they travel to Rowan College at Gloucester County for a 3:30 p.m. doubleheader.
