Toms River, NJ - The Ocean County College Vikings Softball team was swept in devastating fashion by Mercer County Community College on Friday, losing the two games by a combined score of 22-2. The Vikings were defeated in six innings in the first game, to the tune of 11-0, and lost 11-2 in five innings in the second. Kurstin Binshedler hit 1 for 2 with a triple, and Shea Branda went 2 for 2 with a double and a run scored in the second game.
The Vikings return to the field on Saturday (4/22), when they visit Lehigh Carbon Community College for a doubleheader.
