Toms River, NJ - Ocean County College Women's Softball ran into tough opposition in the form of Brookdale Community College on Friday (4/13), losing both games of their doubleheader by final scores of 11-2 (Game 1) and 17-2 (Game 2)
GAME 1: Shea Branda's 2-run home run in the bottom of the 5th inning provided Ocean's only offense in this 9-run blowout.
GAME 2: Monica Brignola hit 3-3 and Sam Lanzano went 2-3 as the Vikings took their 2nd tough loss of the day to a punishing Jersey Blues team.
The Vikings return to action on Wednesday, April 18 when they travel to Mercer County CC for a 3:30 p.m. doubleheader!
