Toms River, NJ - OCC Softball (5-13) picked up a conference win on Sunday (4/14) via a doubleheader split against the Bulldogs of Bergen Community College.
GAME 1 - Ocean dropped Game 1 to Bergen, 8-3, despite Cassidy Buckley and Ryanne Fetzer each going 2-4 with a double each (and a triple for Buckley), and Danielle Payton belting 3 singles in a 3-4 performance.
GAME 2 - The Vikings put away Bergen, 8-6. Ocean pitcher Hailey Dries picked up her 5th win of the season, and hit 4-4 with 3 singles and a double. Vikings freshman Stefanie Gacho also came up big in this one, with an inside-the-park grand slam!
The Vikings return to action on Tuesday, April 16th, when they visit Rowan College at Burlington County for a 3:30 p.m. doubleheader.
