Toms River, NJ - OCC Softball (6-14) traveled to Rowan College at Burlington County on Tuesday, picking up a win in a doubleheader split against the Barons.
GAME 1 - The Vikings lost in 6 innings in an 11-3 final. Ocean freshman Ashley Bayles smacked a 2-run single in the loss.
GAME 2 - Vikings sophomore pitcher Hailey Dries threw a 6-hitter to pick up her 6th win of the season in this 6-4 victory. Elayna Lohkamp had 2 hits and an RBI, and Ryanne Fetzer blasted a bases-loaded double in the 3rd inning to drive in 2 runs in this exciting win.
The Vikings return to action on Thursday, April 18th, when they welcome NY's Monroe College to campus for a 3:30 p.m. doubleheader.
