Toms River, NJ - OCC Softball remains winless after 8 games following a doubleheader loss at Raritan Valley Community College on Tuesday (4/18).
Ocean sophomore Anijhia Mosa was on fire at the plate in the Vikings' 35-6 game 1 loss to the Lions. Mosa belted 2 doubles, scored 1 run and drove in 1 run in the loss. Morgan Slomkowski hit 3 for 3 with a double and 2 RBI in the game as well, while Amanda Economides contributed an RBI single, double and scored a run. Mosa scored 3 runs and drew 2 walks in game 2, which saws the Vikings absorb a 14-6 loss to RVCC. Slomkowski once again hit 3 for 3, with a double, RBI and run scored, while Emily Hester picked up 2 hits and scored a run in the defeat.
The Vikings next take the field on Thursday, April 20, when they welcome Salem Community College to campus for a 3:30 P.M. doubleheader.
