Toms River, NJ - OCC Women's Lacrosse played their inaugural game on Saturday (3/7), falling to visiting Howard Community College by a 25-2 final score.

Ocean freshman Taylor Hickey scored the first goal for Ocean at 9:48 of the first half, while Ashley Kelly supplied the second in the second half. Vikings goalkeeper Simi Clapman made 16 saves on 41 shots on goal in a game that as the final score implies, featured heavily on Ocean's end of the turf. 

The Vikings will look to build upon the things they did right on Saturday, March 14th, when they host Finger Lakes Community College for a 1:30 p.m. matchup.
