Toms River NJ - The Ocean County College womens soccer team played visiting Rowan College at Burlington County to a 1-1 tie on Thursday afternoon at the Ocean County Stadium.
Ocean County College Freshman Lexi Urban (Southern Regional) opened the scoring in the 15th minute when Leena Keghlian (Toms River East) served a through ball behind the Barons backs. Urban then dribbled past the Barons keeper for her 2nd goal of the young season.
The match would remain 1-0 Vikings until the 85th minute when Rowan Burlington's Lauren Tomei poked home a cross from Hayley Werrell for the games equalizer.
Kayla Froberg (Toms River South) had a strong showing for the Vikings registering 9 saves in the contest.
