Toms River, NJ - OCC Women's Soccer (6-4) concluded their 2023 regular season in dominant fashion, with a 5-1 home win against the visiting Colts of Middlesex College.
Ocean defensive forward Brooke Ossimina opened Vikings scoring (assisted by Rory Hagen) midway throught the 1st half, followed by Hagen a short time later (assisted by Julianna Cummings), giving OCC a 2-0 lead at the half. Vikings freshman defensive forward Taylor Lewis then took control, scoring 3 goals in the 2nd half (assisted by Marquella Boutsikaris, Alyssa Duff, and Rory Hagen) that solidified Ocean's 6th win of the season.
Next for the Vikings will be the NJCAA Region 19 postseason. Stay tuned for seeding/scheduling information.
