Toms River, NJ - The Ocean County College women's tennis team snapped a two-game winless streak in grand fashion, with a 9-0 shutout of Bucks County Community College. The team was firing on all cylinders all afternoon, with Logan Squires and Meghann Hargis, Beth Wittek and Jackie Elliott, and Rachel Hess and Alexis Banfield winning their three doubles matches with final scores of 8-3, 8-6, and 8-1 respectively. Squires, Hargis, Wittek, Elliott, Hess, and Ashley Tallman also won their singles matches in the rout. The win improves the Vikings' record to 2-3 with three consecutive conference matches coming up, the first being a visit from Mercer County Community College on Thursday, September 21 for a 2:30 p.m. match.
