Toms River, NJ - The Ocean County College Vikings women's tennis team fell to GSAC rival Camden County College by a 6-3 final. The Vikings first and second doubles teams, Logan Squires and Meghann Hargis, and Beth Wittek and Jackie Elliott, lost by 8-1 and 8-0 scores, respectively, until Rachel Hess and Alexis Banfield stopped the skid with a 9-8 (7-2) win. Hess was one of two OCC singles match winners on the day as well, along with Ashley Tallman. The loss gives the Vikings a 3-4 overall record, 2-3 in the Garden State Athletic Conference.

The Vikings return to the court on Monday, September 25, when they welcome Rowan College at Gloucester County to campus for a 3:30 p.m. match.
